Originally part of the “Looking North” exhibition with artist Danny Kim, Today Under Heatwave is a two channel video installation that examines the interrelations of historical time and tourism. The South Korean side of the De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) commemorates Korean War’s tragic past and a potential future. The present moment is for the tourists.
